Getting super-efficient with geothermal
As a columnist for a local newspaper, Barbara Fox of Princeton wrote about making her home more energy efficient. In 2010, Princeton Air insulated her small Cape Cod house and replaced her furnace, air conditioner and water heater with a WaterFurnace® geothermal heat pump and water heater.
As Barbara wrote in her column of Feb. 2, “Now we have plenty of hot water and as much cool air as we want. With no outside a/c unit, no ignition and a variable speed fan that runs 24/7, it’s quiet and comfortable, always the same temperature . . .”

Like getting a/c for free
Charles and Carol McCollough hired Princeton Air in 2010 to install insulation and a brand-new high-efficiency a/c system in their historic Hopewell home.
After the insulation was done, Princeton Air installed the air conditioning system. Carol says that based on a year-to-year comparison of energy use before and after the work was done, she is now paying 30% less than before — even with the new air conditioning system in summer. “We look at it like we are getting the air conditioning for free,” says Carol.

Spending 25% less on energy
Elaine and Bill Hogan wanted to make their Lawrence home more energy efficient, so they hired Princeton Air to conduct a home energy assessment.
The insulation has definitely made a difference, says Elaine. “Princeton Air estimated that our heating and cooling bills would go down 25% and they have.”
The couple has recommended Princeton Air to many friends over the years, and they have all been very pleased, Elaine says.
