All townships require an inspection after any new air conditioner, furnace or heat pump is installed. This is done to ensure that the installation was done professionally and safely.
As a service to you, we will file the permit application with your township office and forward a copy to you, asking that you schedule a convenient time to allow the inspector into your home.
Please be aware that homeowners who have new heating or air conditioning equipment installed without getting a township permit incur the risk of a large fine. Also, you will not be able to close on the sale of your home without getting the permit and going through the inspection process. We do the difficult filing work for you - PLEASE be sure to follow up quickly with a scheduled inspection!
