** The course start date has been moved up from March 2nd to February 24th.
The Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association is holding a course called “Conserving Energy in Your Home,” and we are proud to announce that Princeton Air’s very own Colin McCollough will be teaching one of the classes!
The aim of this course is to help homeowners gain a deeper understanding of how energy is used for their home’s heating, cooling, and lighting systems, hot water and “plug loads,” and what determines the efficiency of energy use. Learn about practical and cost-effective measures that can be taken to lower energy bills and be better stewards of the environment.
Along with four Wednesday night meetings, the class includes a Saturday morning field trip with an energy audit on one lucky participant’s house. Attendees will also learn how solar panels produce electricity and hot water, the methods of weatherizing a house to reduce the heat loss in the winter (or heat gain in the summer), and many more useful tips.
Enrollment is limited to 15 people--sign up now! As a special incentive, all members of the class will be offered a Princeton Air home energy audit for only $75!
