I have been a customer with Weltman for years and here recently, Weltman was taken over by Princeton Air. I made an appointment for my seasonal checkup for my air conditioning unit.. Technician Ryan Gobel was dispatched to my home.He came in and was very professional, knowledgeable and tentative to my concerns and he answered all my questions regarding my system..I wanted to change my two zone system back to it's original state as I didn't have 2 units, I have one unit with dual zones. I set up an appointment to have that done. Ryan came back for this appointment to do the work and he had another gentleman he was training by the name of Dayone Brack. They both came in and went right to work. As Ryan changed parts, he showed me the old parts explained the reasons why the part was defective and explained the insulation of the new parts all while training Dayone. After all the work was done, he tested the system to ensure everything was working up to standard. He cleaned up his work area and left my home nice and neat just as he found it. Both Ryan and Dayone even put on shoe coverings without me having to ask. Over all my experience was a good one and I will request Ryan again when it's time for my seasonal maintaince. Keep up the good work Ryan and continue to keep up the excellent customer service. Dayone, good luck with your training and keep up the good work.
Fantastic communication and service quality, they do great work. I have used them for many jobs and would recommend them as the best HVAC vendor in central NJ.
I had an issue with my air conditioner give a call to Princeton air they was very professional and fast respond, love their service
Great job. Worked efficiently. Work area clean
Alberto was great. Super friendly and fixed the problem in no time.
Had a new minisplit system placed. From the initial quote to actual instalation it was very organized and professional. All appointment times given were honored and during the 2 hour windows they would text updates narrowing the actual times for their arrival. Instalation was done in 1 day, for us, and the installers and electrician were very professional during the install and wiring. They were also great about cleaning up after themselves. We just had the three days of 90 plus degrees, this past week, and all our units performed as expected. Incredibly within the 1 degree as promised. This will be my first year not carrying up, and then down again, from our basement the 6 window units I had to place to cool our home. That alone was worth the cost, which was signicant but also very reasonable considering the quality of the outdoor and indoor units used and complexity of the install, in home built in 1947. Thank you Princeton Air!!
Princeton Air technician came out to check out A/C that stopped working yesterday. He went down, checked and diagnosed the problem, and had the air back on within 10 minutes. I recommend this company.

Joe was super thorough and very knowledgeable during his inspection of the commercial HVAC units. I felt informed and well equipped as a potential future tenant. Highly recommend!
As a second generation McAllister, now, Princeton customer in Atlantic County, I am pleased to report another successful system installation. This year it is a state-of-the-art Combi water heater and HVAC installation at the seashore. Scheduling occurred with "military precision." The bevy of workers and equipment arrived on time — all friendly and informative. By the second day all done, manual provided & questions answered. Always a good crew to have onsite. Company was also very helpful in scheduling my A/C system maintenance at the same time as all the other work beating the start of the summer season.
Service man Ryan is always very professional and thorough and takes the time to explain what’s going on with our heating and air-conditioning system.
I waited all day three times for the repairman. I am going to change my service provider.
Technician was very good.
Prompt, polite, informative, professional, thorough
Ryan G arrived promptly to my home to see why my air conditioning unit wasn't working. He clearly explained upfront the charges for diagnosing the problem. He quickly discovered the source of the issue and showed me pictures of the clogged a/c pipe and explained the work he would be doing. After the work was completed, he showed me how much debris he pumped out of the pipe and explained the charges which were very reasonable. I was thoroughly happy with the service that Ryan G provided. His descriptions and instructions were very clear. I would highly recommend Ryan G. & Princeton Air to all !
Our tech Dominic was Great!!

Latrell and Norman two very hard workers ran into situations replacing a compressor on our air conditioning unit but kept us informed as to their progress. It was frustrating for them on hottest day of year but they kept their professional and customer service attitudes up in a pleasant manner. Two excellent maintenance service repair professionals.

Ali was great! We have a very confusing system here at the office and Ali went over and above and let us know what happened, what he did to fix it, and an action plan going forward. He also provided with solutions and recommendations to corporate in his work order, providing me with peace of mind that our company and the people who need to know what is going on.
Back to normal
They sent someone out when my Central Air died in the middle of a heatwave; it turned out to be frozen so they had to return after it thawed, but everything was timely and I felt well taken care of. Dispatchers, office staff and my tech, Cruise, were all excellent. I was up and running by noon!
Very knowledgeable and professional Navien tech.
Maurice Gaines was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient! I've used Princeton Air's services a few times now and it's always been a good experience.
Latrelle did an excellent job
I had issues with my A/C unit that would sporadically not turn on and wouldn’t be able to reach the desired set temperature. I had a service contract with the utility company , who I called out 3 times to fix the issue and each time they couldn’t find anything wrong. This time I called Princeton Air, was able to book online and they came out the next day. Ryan came to my house and listened to the entire history of my A/C issues. He was able to troubleshoot and quickly found there was a wiring issue which he was able to correct that day. He educated me on my unit and explained in detail to me everything he did along the way. Thank you Ryan, you are very talented in your skill.
Maurice was terrific and solved the problem very quickly. I highly recommend Princeton Air.

Water Softener Replacement

Even well-built water softeners eventually reach the end of their useful life.

As water softener components age, resin beds gradually lose their mineral-removing capacity and internal parts begin failing more frequently. When your current system shows the warning signs described below, Princeton Air provides water softener replacement in Union Township, NJ, with modern units that operate more efficiently and require less maintenance. Our careful installation process protects your home from unnecessary mess while getting your new system running properly from day one.

The most obvious indicator that your system is failing is when hard water problems you previously eliminated start reappearing throughout your home. Mineral spots may return to dishes and fixtures, soap becomes difficult to work into a lather, and your skin and hair may feel rough after bathing. Once a water softener in Union Township, NJ, loses its ability to extract minerals properly, these telltale hard water signs typically resurface.

When your water softener in Union Township, NJ, starts consuming salt at a faster rate while hard water symptoms persist, internal components are likely failing to process minerals effectively. Deteriorated resin beds or malfunctioning parts trigger excessive regeneration cycles that waste salt and water without restoring the mineral-removing capacity your home depends on.

While routine upkeep keeps any water softener in Union Township, NJ running properly, multiple repair visits within a short period often signal that core components are wearing out. Problems like control valve failures, persistent blockages, or regeneration cycles that won’t complete correctly typically mean the system’s internal parts have deteriorated beyond simple fixes.

Internal buildup, deteriorated valves, or worn resin beds can choke water flow through your water softener in Union Township, NJ, creating noticeable pressure drops at faucets and fixtures. When your system starts restricting flow this way, it’s typically signaling that core components need professional attention to restore normal operation.

Well-functioning water softeners in Union Township, NJ, regenerate only when needed, conserving salt and water while maintaining consistent mineral removal. When regeneration cycles become erratic or incomplete, your system burns through salt without effectively protecting your plumbing and appliances from scale damage.

Water Softener Repair in Union Township

Water softener malfunctions in Union Township often produce immediate, noticeable effects. Scale buildup reappears on fixtures, water quality changes become apparent, and your appliances start developing mineral deposits once more.

Water softener problems in Union Township, NJ, often stem from multiple interconnected components, making accurate diagnosis critical to avoid repeated failures. Princeton Air’s repair specialists identify the underlying issue causing your system’s malfunction, then address it completely so your water softener protects your home’s plumbing and appliances reliably for years ahead rather than breaking down again in a few months.

Water softeners in Union Township, NJ, rely on resin beds filled with tiny beads that trap calcium and magnesium as water flows through. Over time, these beads deteriorate from iron contamination, sediment buildup, or simple wear, allowing hard water minerals to slip past and reach your fixtures and appliances. Our technicians assess resin bed condition and perform targeted cleaning or replacement to stop mineral breakthrough before it damages your plumbing and water-using equipment.

Control valves coordinate water flow and regeneration timing that keeps your water softener in Union Township, NJ, working effectively. When valves wear out or malfunction, your system wastes salt through erratic cycles or stops removing minerals altogether, leaving your plumbing vulnerable to scale damage. Our technicians pinpoint valve problems and restore the precise timing your system needs to protect your home’s appliances and plumbing reliably.

Water softeners in Union Township, NJ, depend on regeneration cycles to flush mineral buildup from resin beds and maintain their ability to remove hardness from your water supply. When regeneration fails due to valve problems, timer issues, brine line blockages, or worn internal components, the resin bed loses its mineral-capturing capacity and hard water symptoms return throughout your home. Our technicians diagnose what’s preventing proper regeneration and repair the underlying cause so your system can resume protecting your plumbing and appliances from scale damage.

Water lines, injectors, and internal components gradually collect mineral deposits and debris that choke off proper flow through your water softener in Union Township, NJ. Professional cleaning removes these stubborn blockages that homeowners can’t reach, restoring the circulation your system needs to protect your plumbing and appliances from scale damage.

Worn fittings, valve seals, or tank connections create leaks that can damage your Union Township home’s foundation or flooring while forcing your water softener to work harder than necessary. Internal blockages and component wear also restrict water flow, creating pressure drops that affect your entire plumbing system. Our technicians pinpoint these issues and restore proper operation before minor problems turn into major water damage or expensive system replacement.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if my Union Township home has hard water?

Hard water often reveals itself through everyday signs around the home. You may notice white or chalky buildup on faucets and showerheads, spots on glassware after washing, soap that doesn’t lather well, or laundry that feels stiff after drying. Some homeowners also experience dry skin or dull hair after showering. If you’re unsure whether hard water is affecting your home, professional water testing can measure mineral levels and determine whether a water softener in Union Township would be beneficial.

Is hard water harmful to drink in Union Township?

Hard water in Union Township is generally considered safe to drink. The minerals responsible for hardness (primarily calcium and magnesium) are naturally occurring and not harmful. However, hard water can still create problems inside the home by causing scale buildup in plumbing, water heaters, and appliances. Over time, this buildup can reduce efficiency and increase wear on important household systems.

What does a water softener actually do in Union Township?

A water softener in Union Township removes hardness minerals from your water through a process called ion exchange. Inside the system is a tank filled with resin beads that capture calcium and magnesium as water passes through. Periodically, the system regenerates by flushing those minerals away using a salt-based brine solution. This process allows the resin to continue removing hardness minerals, providing consistently softened water throughout your home.

How long does a water softener last in Union Township, NJ?

Most water softeners in Union Township last between 10 and 15 years depending on usage, water conditions, and maintenance. Homes with very hard water may see more wear on system components over time. Routine service and occasional part replacement can sometimes extend the life of a system, but older units may eventually become less efficient or require more frequent repairs.

Can a water softener help protect my appliances in Union Township?

Yes. Hard water minerals can accumulate inside appliances such as water heaters, dishwashers, and washing machines. This buildup creates scale that forces equipment to work harder and can shorten its lifespan. A properly functioning water softener in Union Township reduces mineral deposits, helping appliances operate more efficiently and potentially extending their service life.
