Great service and follow up. Honest answers
Dominic was very professional and installed my new Nest Thermostat in. He showed me some features and mage sure I had the app set up on my I- Phone. Dominic forgot to put the door back on my furnace but returned and put it securely back on.
I was very happy with the central air conditioning system Princeton Air installed for me. They were very prompt in getting a quote to me, were very competitive and did an excellent job with the installation. I plan on using them for all maintenance on the unit and highly recommend them.
I appreciate how responsive Princeton Air is. Tom did all he could to fix our system.
They did a great job. Nelson was very knowledgeable and professional.
MOST RECENT June 2026:
Weltman has been purchased by Princeton Air. They have been really great. A seamless transition on the customer side. Eric was just here to put in a new anti-scaling system and a pressure relief valve for the house. Very happy!

UPDATE:
Now in our home for almost 8 years and Weltman has never disappointed! Chris L came today and was completely professional and quick for our yearly inspection of our furnace before the cold winter! Itโ€™s great to know they keep great notes and, almost, know more about our system than we do!

Weltman will always make it right if something is wrong. They will also get to you ASAP! We have been customers since we bought our home 3 years ago and have been completely satisfied!
We have used Princeton Air twice for our HVAC and once for plumbing. Each time, the technician was courteous and professional, and the issues were resolved. We recommend Princeton Air!
Teck was knowledgeable and courteous
The technician Alfredo is great
I was recommended Princeton Air by a friend and Iโ€™m very happy that I was. I had a hvac and furnace system that was 25 years old and in dire need of replacement.
Chris from the company came out very promptly and did a full review, taking the time to take me through the different options. From there we reached an agreement and within one week the team came out and did a full dual zone system replacement.
I was blown away by the professionalism and indeed sheer hard work of the installation team. They arrived at 08.30am and finished at 8.30pm working tirelessly to complete the job in one day. A huge thank you to Princeton air, Chris and the install team -Jorge Vizueta, John Jaramillo, Juan Torres and Jhonny Anacona for a really cool air conditioning experience. Thank you!
The repair man, Dominic came out this morning to inspect our AC system. He was extremely knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and explained things very well. I work in construction and can tell you that Dominic is one of the best Iโ€™ve seen in years. Princeton air is very lucky to have him as an employee as he is SUCH AN ASSET to your company.

I also want to give a special thanks to Leah the customer service representative I spoke to. Also extremely kind and helpful. I have had the worst two weeks of my life and two strangers taking the time to kind made my heart smile. Thanks again Leah and Dominic.
Wilver did a great job replacing my toilet. He was respectful and quickly diagnosed the problem. He came back with a beautiful Glacier toilet which he quickly installed. I highly recommend him for any toilet job!

I just had Alberto fix my furnace as my house was 60 degrees this morning…he diagnosed the issue quickly, got the part and installed it in record time! He was my angel of the hour and I will never forget all he did for me today. I highly recommend him if you have a heating issue.

I had Brian replace my electrical box and he did a fabulous job. I highly recommend him if u need it done.

Jose just fixed my AC problem as it was not coming on and a heat wave is coming this week! He was extremely knowledgeable, went outside to check everything (thorough) and got my cool air on expeditiously! He has a wonderful demeanor and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him for any of your AC needs this summer. Ask for him…you'll be happy you did!
Norman was great!!! He has come before. His advice and work were great!!!! Unfortunately Princeton Air, formerly a family run business, has been bought by a large corporate group, and we have chosen not to use them any longer
The technician was thorough, knowledgeable and professional. He also called for an ETA and was punctual.
I wanted to say a BIG Thank you to Princeton Air and Jesus C for coming to our rescue when AC in our house wasnโ€™t working (despite it working fine 3 weeks ago). My daughter and her friends arrived on Friday afternoon for a girls weekend. Even though the compressor unit outside was running, no air was coming through the vents inside the house. After talking her through a few things over the phone (none of which resolved the issue), I called Princeton Air.
Despite it being already 5pm on Friday, they dispatched a technician who arrived within an hour. Jesus C called me several times to keep me updated about the repair. Within 45 min, the air was blowing COLD!!
I highly recommend this company. I am beyond grateful for the prompt and professional service we received.
Thanks so much for the EXCELLENT service from Norman. He was very knowledgeable and so friendly. Really nice guy. Thank you Norman and thank you Princeton Air.

Overall, weโ€™re very happy with Princeton Air and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC services.

Jorhe arrived and listened to what I needed in this routine service call and when he finished all my questions were answered & for the 1st time Iโ€™m able to understand the function and area each thermostat controls!
Cheers for you Jorhe!
Replaced central a/c system. Team arrived early morning and explained the process thoroughly, asked if we had any questions, then proceeded with the work. The job was completed quickly, a couple of little glitches were resolved with no impact. Only concern I had, we did not receive a call the day before confirming installation and time. All in all I would still recommend Princeton Air.
Great job. Worked efficiently. Work area clean

Emergency Electrical Repairs We Handle

No two electrical emergencies look exactly alike. Whatever warning sign brought you to the phone, our team is equipped to handle it.

Our team tackles urgent electrical problems throughout Edison, NJ with speed, pinpointing the source of trouble and getting dependable power back to your home.

Partial or complete power loss in Edison homes often traces back to circuit failures, deteriorating wiring connections, or overloaded panels struggling with modern electrical demands. Without a confirmed utility outage affecting your neighborhood, these sudden blackouts typically signal internal electrical problems that need immediate professional diagnosis to prevent safety hazards.

Circuit panels that overheat, breakers tripping repeatedly, or electrical boxes producing unusual sounds signal serious safety concerns requiring immediate professional evaluation in Edison. Our electricians quickly examine panel conditions and resolve hazardous situations before they worsen into dangerous electrical failures.

That sharp, acrid smell around outlets, switches, or panels in your Edison home signals overheating electrical components that pose immediate fire danger. New Jersey’s humid summers and temperature swings can accelerate wire deterioration, making burning odors particularly concerning in local homes. Our electricians treat these emergency electrical calls in Edison with the urgency they demand.

Many properties throughout Edison’s established neighborhoods like Menlo Park and Oak Tree feature electrical systems installed decades ago. Back then, household power demands were far lower than today’s standards. As these aging wires and connections deteriorate, early warning signs often appear gradually. Flickering that seems random. Outlets that feel warm. Circuits that trip without clear cause. Professional emergency electrical service in Edison can identify failing wiring before it creates dangerous conditions in your home.

Outlets, switches, or fixtures in your Edison home produce crackling, popping, or buzzing noises, or you notice sparks during plugging and unplugging. These warning signs typically indicate loose or deteriorating electrical connections. New Jersey’s seasonal humidity changes can accelerate connection problems in older Edison neighborhoods like Menlo Park and Oak Tree, making these sounds particularly concerning and requiring immediate professional attention.

Edison’s summer thunderstorms and nor’easters bring unique electrical hazards. Lightning-induced power surges. Water seeping into basement wiring systems common in older Menlo Park and Oak Tree homes. Storm debris can also damage exterior electrical components in ways that create hidden safety risks. Our electricians perform thorough post-storm electrical assessments in Edison, identifying concealed damage and completing repairs that restore reliable power throughout your home.

Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as a true electrical emergency in Edison?

Electrical problems become emergencies when they threaten your safety or could damage your property. Burning odors near outlets or panels, breakers that keep tripping, sparks from switches, unexplained power loss, and buzzing from electrical panels all signal immediate danger. These need professional attention. Trust your instincts. If an electrical issue seems concerning, it probably is and shouldn’t wait until morning. Emergency electrical repair in Edison operates 24/7 because these problems don’t follow business hours.

Is it safe to keep resetting a tripped breaker?

One reset makes sense if you know what caused the trip, like plugging in too many appliances at once. But here’s the thing. A breaker that keeps tripping without an obvious reason means something’s wrong with the wiring or panel. It needs professional attention. Repeatedly forcing it back on creates real safety risks. Have an electrician check the circuit before trying another reset, especially in Edison’s older neighborhoods where aging wiring can develop hidden problems.

What causes flickering lights throughout the house?

Flickering in just one light usually means a bad bulb or a problem with that specific fixture. Multiple lights flickering throughout your Edison home suggests something bigger. Loose wiring connections, an overloaded circuit, or an electrical panel that can’t maintain steady power delivery. House-wide flickering needs professional electrical diagnosis in Edison to identify whether you’re dealing with a safety issue that requires immediate attention.

Should a burning smell near an outlet be treated as an emergency?

Absolutely. Treat any burning odor around electrical components as an immediate emergency. That smell indicates overheating wires, failing connections, or components pulling dangerous amounts of current. All of these can spark fires. Turn off power to the affected area right away and get emergency electrical service in Edison, because these situations worsen quickly rather than resolving on their own.

Can a storm create problems with my home’s electrical system?

Yes, storms create multiple electrical hazards for Edison homes. Lightning and power surges can fry panels and appliances, while flooding or roof damage lets water reach wiring systems that were never designed to get wet. Edison’s summer thunderstorms and winter nor’easters are particularly hard on older electrical systems in neighborhoods like Menlo Park, where basement wiring is common. Notice flickering lights, tripping breakers, or burning odors after severe weather? Those circuits need professional inspection before you use them again.
