I have been a customer with Weltman for years and here recently, Weltman was taken over by Princeton Air. I made an appointment for my seasonal checkup for my air conditioning unit.. Technician Ryan Gobel was dispatched to my home.He came in and was very professional, knowledgeable and tentative to my concerns and he answered all my questions regarding my system..I wanted to change my two zone system back to it's original state as I didn't have 2 units, I have one unit with dual zones. I set up an appointment to have that done. Ryan came back for this appointment to do the work and he had another gentleman he was training by the name of Dayone Brack. They both came in and went right to work. As Ryan changed parts, he showed me the old parts explained the reasons why the part was defective and explained the insulation of the new parts all while training Dayone. After all the work was done, he tested the system to ensure everything was working up to standard. He cleaned up his work area and left my home nice and neat just as he found it. Both Ryan and Dayone even put on shoe coverings without me having to ask. Over all my experience was a good one and I will request Ryan again when it's time for my seasonal maintaince. Keep up the good work Ryan and continue to keep up the excellent customer service. Dayone, good luck with your training and keep up the good work.
Fantastic communication and service quality, they do great work. I have used them for many jobs and would recommend them as the best HVAC vendor in central NJ.
I had an issue with my air conditioner give a call to Princeton air they was very professional and fast respond, love their service
Great job. Worked efficiently. Work area clean
Alberto was great. Super friendly and fixed the problem in no time.
Had a new minisplit system placed. From the initial quote to actual instalation it was very organized and professional. All appointment times given were honored and during the 2 hour windows they would text updates narrowing the actual times for their arrival. Instalation was done in 1 day, for us, and the installers and electrician were very professional during the install and wiring. They were also great about cleaning up after themselves. We just had the three days of 90 plus degrees, this past week, and all our units performed as expected. Incredibly within the 1 degree as promised. This will be my first year not carrying up, and then down again, from our basement the 6 window units I had to place to cool our home. That alone was worth the cost, which was signicant but also very reasonable considering the quality of the outdoor and indoor units used and complexity of the install, in home built in 1947. Thank you Princeton Air!!
Princeton Air technician came out to check out A/C that stopped working yesterday. He went down, checked and diagnosed the problem, and had the air back on within 10 minutes. I recommend this company.

Joe was super thorough and very knowledgeable during his inspection of the commercial HVAC units. I felt informed and well equipped as a potential future tenant. Highly recommend!
As a second generation McAllister, now, Princeton customer in Atlantic County, I am pleased to report another successful system installation. This year it is a state-of-the-art Combi water heater and HVAC installation at the seashore. Scheduling occurred with "military precision." The bevy of workers and equipment arrived on time — all friendly and informative. By the second day all done, manual provided & questions answered. Always a good crew to have onsite. Company was also very helpful in scheduling my A/C system maintenance at the same time as all the other work beating the start of the summer season.
Service man Ryan is always very professional and thorough and takes the time to explain whatโ€™s going on with our heating and air-conditioning system.
I waited all day three times for the repairman. I am going to change my service provider.
Technician was very good.
Prompt, polite, informative, professional, thorough
Ryan G arrived promptly to my home to see why my air conditioning unit wasn't working. He clearly explained upfront the charges for diagnosing the problem. He quickly discovered the source of the issue and showed me pictures of the clogged a/c pipe and explained the work he would be doing. After the work was completed, he showed me how much debris he pumped out of the pipe and explained the charges which were very reasonable. I was thoroughly happy with the service that Ryan G provided. His descriptions and instructions were very clear. I would highly recommend Ryan G. & Princeton Air to all !
Our tech Dominic was Great!!

Back to normal
They sent someone out when my Central Air died in the middle of a heatwave; it turned out to be frozen so they had to return after it thawed, but everything was timely and I felt well taken care of. Dispatchers, office staff and my tech, Cruise, were all excellent. I was up and running by noon!
Very knowledgeable and professional Navien tech.
Maurice Gaines was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient! I've used Princeton Air's services a few times now and it's always been a good experience.
Latrelle did an excellent job
I had issues with my A/C unit that would sporadically not turn on and wouldnโ€™t be able to reach the desired set temperature. I had a service contract with the utility company , who I called out 3 times to fix the issue and each time they couldnโ€™t find anything wrong. This time I called Princeton Air, was able to book online and they came out the next day. Ryan came to my house and listened to the entire history of my A/C issues. He was able to troubleshoot and quickly found there was a wiring issue which he was able to correct that day. He educated me on my unit and explained in detail to me everything he did along the way. Thank you Ryan, you are very talented in your skill.
Maurice was terrific and solved the problem very quickly. I highly recommend Princeton Air.

Water Heater Repairs

A struggling water heater means laundry that can’t get done, dishes that don’t get clean, and a household that can’t run the way it’s supposed to.

Our West Windsor water heater repair specialists restore hot water daily throughout neighborhoods like Clarksville, Princeton Junction, Dutch Neck, and Penn Lyle. We bring Princeton Air’s expertise directly to your door.

Our technicians explain what went wrong and outline the solution clearly. Every water heater repair in West Windsor gets performed with the precision and care your home deserves. The repairs we make are built to last. You get confidence that your system is fixed correctly. Common water heater problems we resolve include:

Failed heating elements, tripped breakers, thermostat malfunctions, or pilot light problems can all cause a complete loss of hot water in West Windsor homes. Quick identification of the root cause allows our technicians to restore your system safely and efficiently.

Water that fluctuates unpredictably from scalding hot to barely warm typically stems from sediment buildup, a degraded thermostat, or worn heating components. Our technicians in West Windsor diagnose the root cause and fix the problem. Consistent hot water temperatures return.

Moisture appearing around your water heater in West Windsor demands immediate attention. Early action on leaks protects your home from water damage. The source might be a loose fitting, a faulty valve, or a compromised tank.

Sediment accumulation at the bottom of the tank typically causes banging, rumbling, or popping sounds in West Windsor water heaters. This buildup strains the system and reduces efficiency if left unaddressed. Professional servicing can often resolve the problem effectively.

Internal corrosion or a deteriorating anode rod often causes rusty, cloudy, or unpleasant-smelling hot water in West Windsor homes. Addressing these issues promptly can protect your plumbing system. It extends your water heater’s usable life too.

Water Heater Replacement

There comes a point when repairing an aging system no longer makes sense. Time for West Windsor homeowners to upgrade their water heaters.

Princeton Air provides West Windsor homeowners with honest guidance and carefully matched equipment. Water heater replacement becomes necessary sometimes. Our installations are designed for long-term performance.

Replacing your water heater in West Windsor represents a significant investment in your home’s comfort and long-term stability. Our team will guide you through determining when replacement becomes the most practical decision.

Once water heaters reach the 10-to-12-year mark in West Windsor, efficiency starts declining. Breakdown risks increase significantly. An aging unit brings uncertainty that proactive replacement eliminates while protecting your home’s comfort and value.

A single repair is normal maintenance. The same water heater in West Windsor requiring multiple service visits indicates deeper system deterioration has begun. Rather than continuing to patch a failing unit, replacement usually provides superior long-term value for homeowners.

Your West Windsor home’s hot water supply starts falling short. Showers that turn cold unexpectedly. The dishwasher and laundry competing for warm water. This typically signals declining heating performance or capacity loss from sediment buildup. Replacement brings back the reliable hot water output your household depends on.

Visible rust on the tank body or around fittings in West Windsor homes usually signals deeper internal deterioration beneath the surface. Corrosion tends to progress once it begins. The risks of continued operation increase accordingly.

Water pooling around the base of your West Windsor water heater signals a serious problem that demands immediate attention. Internal structural failure is typically the culprit when leaks originate from the tank itself. Replacement becomes the safest and most practical solution.

Water Heater Installation

From morning showers to evening clean-up, your water heater supports the routines that make daily life comfortable in West Windsor.

West Windsor homeowners can navigate the installation process with confidence when they work with Princeton Air. Understanding how your household uses hot water comes first. Then we recommend equipment that fits your needs and budget, completing every water heater installation in West Windsor with the precision and care that professional work demands.

We look at the bigger picture. Several key factors guide our recommendations.

Your daily hot water habits, household size, and the number of bathrooms all influence the right tank size for your West Windsor home. Shortages during peak demand result from a system that’s too small, while an oversized unit wastes energy unnecessarily. Our technicians help you find the right fit from standard tank water heaters that range from 30 to 80 gallons.

Today’s water heaters in West Windsor offer dramatically improved efficiency compared to units installed just ten years ago. High-efficiency systems cut energy consumption while maintaining excellent performance throughout their operational life.

Location constraints play a crucial role in water heater installation in West Windsor. Our technicians carefully assess basement installations, utility closets, or garage placements to confirm proper fit, adequate clearance, and safe access for future service needs.

Each fuel type brings distinct benefits for West Windsor homeowners, with the ideal choice typically determined by your property’s current infrastructure. After reviewing your existing plumbing and utility connections, our team recommends the water heater system that works best with your home’s setup.

The installation behind your water heater in West Windsor determines its long-term reliability. Every connection, fitting, and safety check receives precise attention from our technicians, with all work meeting code requirements and complete system verification before we consider the job finished.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long should I expect my water heater to last?

Most traditional tank water heaters in West Windsor last between 8 and 12 years with proper maintenance. The actual lifespan depends on your local water quality, how heavily your household uses hot water, and keeping up with annual maintenance visits. Regular professional service catches small issues before they turn into major problems, helping your system reach its full expected life.

How do I choose the right size water heater for my West Windsor home?

The right tank size depends on how much hot water your household actually uses during busy periods. A family of four with two full bathrooms typically needs a 50-gallon tank, while larger households or homes with multiple teenagers might require 60-80 gallons. Our technicians look at your family size, bathroom count, and daily routines to find a water heater in West Windsor that meets your demand without oversizing the system and wasting energy.

What’s involved in a water heater installation, and how long does it take?

A typical water heater installation in West Windsor takes 3 to 5 hours from start to finish. Our technicians disconnect and remove your old unit, position and connect the new system to your existing plumbing and electrical or gas lines, then run complete performance tests to verify everything works properly. The timeline can stretch longer if your home needs updated venting, electrical work, or plumbing modifications to accommodate the new water heater.

How often should I schedule water heater maintenance in West Windsor?

Most water heaters in West Windsor should get professional maintenance once per year. During that annual service, your technician flushes out mineral buildup, tests the pressure relief valve and other safety features, and spots developing issues while they’re still minor and inexpensive to fix. Regular yearly attention keeps your system running reliably and helps you avoid the bigger problems that come from neglect.

What warning signs mean my water heater needs professional attention?

Several clear warning signs show your water heater needs professional help. Water temperature that swings unpredictably. Hot water running out faster than usual. Banging or rumbling noises from the tank. Rusty or foul-smelling water, or any pooling water around the base. In West Windsor homes, these symptoms often point to sediment buildup, failing heating elements, or internal corrosion that gets worse when ignored. Addressing problems at the first sign of trouble typically means simpler repairs instead of major system failures.
