Water heater leaks can spell disaster for your home, leading to flooding, water damage to your basement, ruined personal property, mold growth and air quality issues, and more.
WAGS (Water and Gas Safety) valve installation from Princeton helps you avoid leaks and flooding by automatically shutting off the water supply (and in some models, the gas supply as well).
Avoid flooding from leaking hot water heaters
100% mechanical (Works without electricity, batteries, or internet)
Save money, headache, and the need to file insurance claims for water damage
How Does a WAGS Valve Work?
The WAGS valve is installed in a drip pan underneath the water heater. If your water heater is leaking into the pan and the water rises to a certain level, a spring loaded piston in the valve activates, shutting off the water flow (as well as the gas supply, in certain models).
100% Mechanical Emergency Water Shut-Off
One of the best features of the WAGS valve—and what sets it apart from many other valves on the market—is that it’s completely mechanical and doesn’t require electricity to operate. That means that it will still work even if your house loses power, and doesn’t depend on batteries or an internet connection.
