We have used Princeton Air twice for our HVAC and once for plumbing. Each time, the technician was courteous and professional, and the issues were resolved. We recommend Princeton Air!
Tech from Princeton Air (Brian Hassan) showed up on time and performed yearly maintenance on our Kohler Generator. Very professional and courteous technician. Thanks for taking care of our generator like it was your own.

Just had a tech Cruise Rodriguez trouble shoot a minor wiring issue on our new Carrier furnace which was installed this week. As we were installing a new thermostat WiFi Honeywell there was a mismatch which Cruise located and rewired. System seems to be up and running with new thermostat.
Thank you Cruise for your expert help in resolving this issue.
Dominic is very professional and clearly knows what he is doing .
Jonathon and Louis were professional and neat! They Answered all my questions
Dominic was extremely pleasant, professional, and thorough,. He was also quite efficient. He quickly diagnosed the situation and was able to correct it. He also took the time to patiently explain my thermostat to me. Then he signed me up as a member. So heโ€™s a pretty good sales guy too!
However, I then set up an appointment for maintenance and twice Princeton Air canceled me. Iโ€™m now set up for maintenance the end of June. And thatโ€™s after they tried to set me up the end of July and I complained. And this is after Dominic signed me up as a member. Thereโ€™s something very wrong with their business model and I do not consider this good customer service. I will likely have to look for a different serviceโ€ฆ. something more responsive.
I had a great experience with Princeton Air. I had an issue with a part of my healer leaking. Within an hour of calling about this problem, Dylan, the technician, arrived at my house. He soon identified the problem. The next day 3 technicians came back and replaced the faulty part.
Repair went smoothly and efficiently, very satisfied.
One of the worries anyone with a new system would have is if it turns bad, how can it be cared of. Princeton Air answers that question. They responded quickly, sent technicians to look at the issue, and found the proper solution for you. The coordinator at the office is very nice; she would answer my email, and call me back about it even it was on weekends. Such a call is important because it tells you that you are not left out! Wish they will continue the good service. Feng.
Always appreciative of service from Princeton Air. This time it was to install a new quick-Connect hose for the gas grill. Friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Thank you for the great service.
Knowledgeable, Pleasant, provided insight for me to make an informed decision that best meets my needs
Technician was knowledgeable. He was able to find the issue quickly and fix the problem without issue.
Very good service. Cruise did a terrific job resolving our problem and was a pleasure to speak with.
I am so thankful to Princeton Air for sending to me your very best technician, Dominic M, on April 2 to do the maintenance for my air conditioner! Dominic is very professional, knowledgeable and talented. He was so thorough and he explained everything to me as he did it in a way to be sure I could understand. He explained what was working well and what problems needed to be addressed, then came out 2 days later and completed the repairs! I'm so thankful and I would highly recommend Dominic M!!

Dominic M was great. He was patient and set our new thermostat for is. It is a new type of thermostat that came with our new heat pump system and we didnโ€™t know how to use it. Dominic really took his time and set it for us he was understanding and we appreciated his effort.

Robert D was here to check a switch and once again he was great. Professional expedient and overall very accommodating .
Tom did a great job of identifying and repairing a pinhole leak in our minisplit AC system. The cost was high, but the amount of labor and material justified it – these things ain't cheap! Tom is a very personable and knowledgeable tech.
Technician arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem with our air-conditioning as being the blower that was not operating properly. Karume advised us of the ordering process, quoted us a price for the part as well as who to contact at Princeton Air Parts Dept on Monday for more information on how long it would take for the part to come in and be installed. Karume is an exemplary employee and is always welcome to make a service call at our house.

Shower Problems We Diagnose and Repair

Shower issues usually fall into one of several recognizable categories.

Princeton Air’s licensed plumbers have addressed every common residential shower failure that comes up across Mercer County.

You see the showerhead dripping when the shower is off. A dripping head almost always means the valve cartridge inside the shower handle has worn, producing a slow bleed of water past the seal. Your plumber replaces the cartridge with the correct part for your valve model.

You can’t get the shower hot enough, or the temperature jumps around during use. Temperature control issues trace to the mixing valve, the cartridge inside a single-handle valve, or scale buildup in older fixtures. Your plumber diagnoses the specific component and restores reliable temperature operation.

You notice weak flow that wasn’t there before. Pressure loss at a shower is often a clogged showerhead from mineral buildup, a restricted valve cartridge, a kinked or failing supply line, or a broader pressure issue in the home. Your plumber tests through the possibilities and identifies the specific cause.

You see water pooling at your feet during a shower or notice water draining long after the shower is off. Drain problems in showers are almost always hair and soap buildup in the trap, though occasionally the issue is further down the line. Your plumber clears the blockage properly rather than relying on chemical treatments.

You see water stains on the ceiling below the shower or signs of moisture in the wall. Shower pan failures, valve leaks inside the wall, and drain line issues all produce these symptoms. Your plumber locates the actual source with the minimum wall or ceiling access needed for the repair.

You find the shower handle stuck, hard to turn, or not controlling water properly. Handle and valve problems trace to worn cartridges, broken stems, or corrosion that has compromised the valve internals. Your plumber replaces what’s failed and restores normal handle operation.

Why Homeowners Trust Princeton Air With Shower Repair

The right plumbing team makes shower repair clean, fast, and lasting.

Princeton Air has served homeowners throughout Mercer County for decades, and shower work is a consistent part of what we do.

Your shower is repaired by a licensed plumber with specific experience on valve work, which is where most shower problems actually live. The license is the baseline; the experience is what makes the repair hold up.

You get the repair completed on the first visit in most cases because our trucks stock cartridges and common parts for the major valve brands, including Delta, Moen, Kohler, and Grohe.

Your bathroom is a finished space, and our plumbers treat it that way. Drop cloths, protected surfaces, and careful cleanup are part of how the visit ends.

You can reach Princeton Air for plumbing work and also for HVAC, electrical, and indoor air quality. When a shower issue touches bathroom ventilation or creates related concerns, one team handles the full scope.

Some shower valves and fixtures are worth repairing and some aren’t. Your plumber gives you the honest economics so your decision matches the actual situation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does my shower drip when it’s off?

A dripping showerhead with the shower turned off almost always indicates a worn valve cartridge in the handle mechanism. The fix is a cartridge replacement, which is a small repair your plumber can usually complete in under an hour.

Is it normal for shower pressure to drop over time?

Gradual pressure loss is usually mineral buildup accumulating in the showerhead or the valve cartridge. Sudden pressure loss points to a failed cartridge, a kinked supply line, or a problem upstream. Either way, the situation is repairable, and a plumber can identify which cause applies.

How can I tell if my shower is leaking inside the wall?

Warning signs include water stains on the ceiling below the shower, musty smells in the bathroom, soft spots on walls adjacent to the shower, or a water bill that’s higher than usual. A plumber can confirm whether the leak is coming from the shower or another source.

Do you repair shower valves from all manufacturers?

Yes. Princeton Air’s licensed plumbers work on every major residential shower valve brand installed throughout New Jersey, including Delta, Moen, Kohler, Grohe, Price Pfister, and the older brands still found in many homes.

Can I wait to repair a slow shower drain?

Slow drains usually progress to fully clogged drains, often at inconvenient times. Addressing the drain while water still moves is faster and cleaner than addressing it after a full backup. A simple drain cleaning is typically a short service call.
