How Your Kitchen Faucet Repair Visit Runs

A kitchen faucet repair done in one visit is the difference between an annoyance and an actual problem.

A kitchen faucet visit usually moves through the cartridge, the aerator, the sprayer hose, and the supply lines, with a full hot-cold-sprayer test at the end.

You phone us or book online. Our team gathers details about your faucet style and the specific issue, and confirms an appointment window.

Your licensed plumber inspects the faucet, identifies the actual cause, and provides pricing in writing before the repair begins.

Your plumber completes the repair, runs the faucet through its full operating range (hot, cold, and sprayer if applicable), and leaves the kitchen clean.

Cruise was great! He addressed our AC issue quickly and professionally.
Weโ€™ve always been satisfied with McAllister and our recent experience since the merger has not changed that. We needed a new condenser for the A/C and they had a cost effective solution and were able to install it quickly.
Very efficient and on time
Princeton Air condition was extraordinary!! I received a very fair quote immediately after Inspection of my HVAC systemby their talented technician. Their technicians were prompts, professional, and polite. They installed a new system with precision and followed up Professionally. Totally proud to work with Princeton.!!
Ryan G came by and provide tips and recommendations so thorough and with full clarity that I believe will benefit in the long haul. Because of this, I was confident to re-sign up for their maintenance program. He was a true professional who is highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic with the work that he is called to do.
Jose and Corey were a great team and genuinely seemed to care about solving our issues.
I had A/C installed in May, but waited to write a review to see how effective the units can be once it's hot out. Now that I've gone through a couple high temperature days where I turned the mini splits on, I can post a review that I am completely satisfied with the installation by Princeton Air Conditioning and the ease of usage of units. I also will add that it was a pleasure to have Mike C. and Christian J. on the job; they, along with the crews that were on site over the course of the two days, were professional, communicative and upfront. I'd recommend this company to anyone looking for services.
Professional and friendly staff
Air conditioning wasn't working and they came out and got it fixed within a day. Ryan did a great job making sure everything was up and running quickly.
The job was done smoothly and efficiently and right on time
Ryan G got our old air conditioner working again quickly during a bad heat wave and, when we were ready, he explained all our options very well and laid the groundwork to make it easy for us to have installed a new air conditioner. Plus he rescued our cat three times when our cat tried to get out through the garage. He was very kind to all our pets and to us. Thank you, Ryan G!
Dominic was extremely pleasant, professional, and thorough,. He was also quite efficient. He quickly diagnosed the situation and was able to correct it. He also took the time to patiently explain my thermostat to me. Then he signed me up as a member. So heโ€™s a pretty good sales guy too!
However, I then set up an appointment for maintenance and twice Princeton Air canceled me. Iโ€™m now set up for maintenance the end of June. And thatโ€™s after they tried to set me up the end of July and I complained. And this is after Dominic signed me up as a member. Thereโ€™s something very wrong with their business model and I do not consider this good customer service. I will likely have to look for a different serviceโ€ฆ. something more responsive.
Tech (Alex) was on time, courteous, very professional. He let me know that, because of my contract w/McCallister, I would have no extra payment for the part needed.
The repair man, Dominic came out this morning to inspect our AC system. He was extremely knowledgeable, incredibly kind, and explained things very well. I work in construction and can tell you that Dominic is one of the best Iโ€™ve seen in years. Princeton air is very lucky to have him as an employee as he is SUCH AN ASSET to your company.

I also want to give a special thanks to Leah the customer service representative I spoke to. Also extremely kind and helpful. I have had the worst two weeks of my life and two strangers taking the time to kind made my heart smile. Thanks again Leah and Dominic. Chuck our Project Manager has been very kind and knowledgeable through this process as well. I am grateful for the people who work here as they made this pretty easy. Thank you all so much.
Latrell Romulus from Princeton Air did a great job of making sure my AC units were working properly. He was thorough and knowledgeable, and communicated potential areas of concern in a very clear manner.
Great job ! Very knowledgeable and informative. He made sure I was aware of any issues and explained it thoroughly! I look forward to having him again !!

Kitchen Faucet Problems Our Plumbers Handle

Heavy daily use is what drives most kitchen faucet failures, and the symptom usually points straight at the failed part.

Princeton Air’s licensed plumbers have resolved every common kitchen faucet issue that comes up across Mercer County.

You hear or see the drip even when the handle is closed. Kitchen faucet drips almost always trace to a worn ceramic disc cartridge or rubber seat washer. Your plumber installs a new cartridge or washer matched to your specific faucet.

You find your pull-down sprayer stuck extended, spraying at the wrong angle, or refusing to switch between stream and spray. Pull-down mechanisms fail at the hose, the weight, the diverter inside the faucet, or the sprayer head itself. Your plumber diagnoses which specific component has failed and replaces it.

You notice reduced flow coming from the faucet even though other fixtures in the house work fine. Pressure drops usually indicate a clogged aerator or sprayer, a restricted diverter, or a failing cartridge. Your plumber locates the restriction and clears or replaces the affected component.

You see water pooling at the deck plate or escutcheon around the faucet. Base leaks point to O-ring failure inside the faucet body or a loose mounting that’s allowing water to seep underneath. Your plumber disassembles the faucet, replaces the seals, and reseats the fixture.

You find water accumulating inside the sink base cabinet. Supply line failures come from aging braided lines, corroded angle stops, or compression fittings that have worked loose. Your plumber replaces the compromised components and verifies a leak-free system.

You find your faucet handle hard to operate, spinning freely, or falling apart. Handle failures trace to worn valve stems, missing set screws, or internal cartridge issues. Your plumber repairs or replaces the specific failed piece.

Why Princeton Air for Kitchen Faucet Repair

A small plumbing job done right keeps your kitchen running smoothly for years.

Princeton Air has delivered reliable plumbing work throughout Mercer County for over 50 years.

Your faucet is repaired by a licensed plumber with real experience on kitchen fixtures. The license matters; the kitchen-specific experience is what produces fast, clean fixes.

Your truck arrives with cartridges and common parts stocked for the major kitchen faucet manufacturers, including Moen, Delta, Kohler, Grohe, and Kraus.

Your kitchen is a high-traffic, high-value space, and our plumbers protect counters, cabinetry, and floors during the work. Cleanup is part of how the visit ends.

Princeton Air handles plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and indoor air quality, which simplifies your relationships when an issue crosses trades.

Some kitchen faucets are worth a cartridge replacement and another ten years of service; others are nearing the point where a new fixture makes more sense. Your plumber walks through the honest version of the decision.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why has my kitchen faucet pressure dropped?

The usual cause is mineral buildup in the aerator or sprayer head, which develops gradually and eventually restricts flow measurably. Cleaning or replacing the aerator resolves the issue for most faucets, and your plumber can handle it in minutes.

Is a leaky kitchen faucet a major repair?

It’s usually a small repair with a big impact. Most kitchen faucet leaks are cartridge or O-ring issues that can be fixed in an hour or less. The repair is inexpensive compared to the water waste and the risk of cabinet damage.

My pull-down sprayer won’t retract. What’s wrong?

Retraction problems trace to the hose, the weight that pulls it back, or a tangled routing under the sink. A plumber can inspect the assembly, free up the hose, or replace components as needed.

How long does a typical kitchen faucet last?

Quality kitchen faucets run 15 to 20 years with reasonable care, though pull-down sprayers and moving components often need repair or replacement along the way. The faucet body itself typically outlasts the internal parts.

Do you repair touchless and smart kitchen faucets?

Yes. Touchless and smart faucets have electronic sensors and solenoid valves in addition to the standard plumbing components, and our plumbers service all of them. Sensor issues, battery problems, and solenoid failures are all within scope.
